Bangkok--10 Feb--Siam City Hotel Lovers of to-die-for pastries will rejoice that the Siam City Hotel, Bangkok, has newly welcomed the arrival of pastry chef extraordinaire Gerhard J. Greub to the team. He is now cooking up a daily dose of delectable treats for the hotel's numerous dining and drinking outlets along with supplying personalised, top-notch goodies for our discerning in-house weddings, banquets, parties and functions. Chef Gerhard Greub is a native of Switzerland where he received his formal training as a baker and confectioner in Zurich. His impressive r?sum? includes stints with the Swissotel International in Zurich, Caribe Hilton International in Puerto Rico, New York’s Tavern on the Green, Rosewood Hotels in Dallas, Grand Bay Hotel in Miami, and the Four Seasons Hotel openings in Chicago, New York, Maui, and Tokyo. He also successfully ran his own business, Gerhard’s Elegant European Desserts, in Lake Forest, Illinois from 1994—2009. Luckily for us, Gerhard is now calling Bangkok home and tantalising guests, locals and staff alike with his divine creations. Whether it's his signature chocolate marjolaine cake, chestnut and apricot galette or hazelnut and milk chocolate dome, his culinary masterpieces never fail to look good and taste even better.
