AirAsia launches 2 more direct flights to China and India!
Direct flights from Bangkok-Chennai, India 5 days per week, starting from 1,990 THB per way
Daily direct flights from Bangkok-Chongqing, China, starting from 1,490 THB per way
AirAsia announced the launch of two more direct flights from Bangkok-Chennai, India, and Bangkok-Chongqing, China starting from 23 March 2012. Tickets go on sale 9 February 2012 with a special all-inclusive, one-way fare of 1,990 THB from Bangkok to Chennai and 1,490 THB from Bangkok to Chongqing. Tickets must be booked online at www.airasia.com during 9-14 February 2012 for travel during 23 March-27 October 2012.

We recognize that there is a very strong demand for travel between Thailand and many major cities in India, such as Chennai (formerly known as Madras) and today we are very glad to announce that low fares and direct flights will be available 5 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday) for travel between Bangkok and Chennai. At the same time, we are the first and only daily direct flight from Bangkok to Chongqing, a booming city in southwest China which is conveniently located near Chengdu and Jiuzhaigo. Inaugural flights to both Chennai and Chongqing will take place on 23 March 2012.”
