12 Plus, leading teenager consumer products by Osotspa Company stepped further into cosmetic market with the launching of ‘12 Plus Miracle Photogenic Powder’, the latest formula powder with 4D Brightening technology for extremely glowing and brightening skin. To stay in term of popularity, the company used the Korean boy band Choi Siwon, Lee Donghae and Thai idol Pancake-Khemanit Jamikorn to represent the new product. With its launch, the company expected to earn over 60% of sale growth in the 12 Plus Miracle Series. The event also introduced 12 Plus Miracle Photogenic Blush On.
Ms.Wayama Prasertsakul, Osotspa’s Marketing Manager Cosmetic Business Group said ‘the cosmetic industry in Thailand generates approximately over 10,000 million Baht with over 60% growth remain on facial care. This year, the overall growth potential for cosmetic market is expected to grow 7 percent due to variety quality brands.
Within these two years, 12 Plus has expanded the cosmetic line and introduce new products into the market for example foundation powder, BB cream, Eye Liner, Mascara, Lip Gloss and Blush On, Tint. Today we launch the new powder ‘12Plus Miracle Photogenic Powder’ with an investment of over 100 million Baht in marketing budget. The company expects the sale growth of 12 Plus Miracle series will be over 60%.
The company brings back Korean stars as our presenter since we believe in the Idol marketing strategy and the Korean stars still existing among Thai teens. Two Korean stars Choi Siwon and Lee Donghae from Super Junior and our Thai idol, Pancake-Khemanit Jamikorn are the presenters for this new product.
Besides the idol advertising strategy, the company encouraged higher purchasing power with attractive marketing campaign and promotions to reach potential group as well as expand distribution channels both direct sale and on-line marketing. The campaign under ‘Photogenic’ concept was introduced to reach target group.’
