Tourism Authority of Thailand, Beijing office in China and Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chiang Mai office, Chiang Mai Tourism Business Association, Chiang Mai Guide Association, Thai Hotels Association Northern Chapter and Thai Chinese Business Association of Chiang Mai, recently held a memorable evening event for exclusively invited travel agents and press from Beijing to showcase the Luxury Lanna Wedding Ceremony in order to promote the charming Lanna culture to the wedding and tourist market in Thailand and China.
The demonstration and presentation of Luxury Lanna Wedding Ceremony was arranged and organized by Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai, at its ‘Huen Silp Slah’, the beautiful authentic Thai House. The respective opening speech was made by Khun Adisorn Kumnurdsiri, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai province. The showcase reveals every step of the original wedding ceremony from the Kan-Mak procession, the Silver and Golden Gates and the Wrist binding ritual. Kad-Mua (traditional Lanna market) reception, Khan Toke dinner to the release of the famous hot air balloons all perfectly displays the gracefulness of Lanna culture. The impressive night was wholeheartedly organized to promote Lanna wedding destination amongst the wedding and tourist market in both Thailand and China.
