Mr. Kittipong Sutthi (fourth from right), Director of Thai National Institute for the Blind, was recently invited by the Aircraft Safety & Cabin System Engineering Department, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), to offer useful suggestions and imperative requirements on developing THAI’s Safety on Board information in both Thai and English Braille formats.
Mr. Chiratthitikorn Maleekaew (fourth from left), Department Manager of THAI Aircraft Safety & Cabin System Engineering Department, stated, “With the airline’s concern for THAI passengers with visual disabilities, THAI is pleased to be offering a way to inform passengers about safety while in flight. The Braille formats of the onboard safety pamphlets will be beneficial for the understanding of safety precautions.”
