Turn out the lights, let the party begin! This year amBar is celebrating Earth Hour in a creatively fun way.
The Earth Hour, now in its sixth year, the annual lights out event has grown from a single-city initiative in 2007 to become the world’s largest display of environmental action, with citizens of 135 countries and territories across every continent coming together to call for action on climate change by doing something quite simple - turning off their lights for one hour. The movement symbolizes that by working together, each of us can make a positive impact in this fight, protecting our future and that of future generations.
To support this initiative and play a part to send the message of the concern we share about climate change, amBar is holding a cocktail competition that would encourage participants to send their original cocktail recipe representing the “Earth Hour” theme. The winning cocktail’s creator will win a trip to relax and enjoy the beauty our planet offers.
The Earth Hour Cocktail Competition 2012 presented by amBar and italasia on March 31 will play host to world’s 1st ever the Earth Hour Cocktail Competition. To enter the competition, send your name, bar and the concept for your original Earth Hour drink recipe* to
