TMB wins regional award for innovation

IDC Financial Insights last week presented TMB with an “Innovation in Business Rules Management” award at the seventh Financial Insights Innovation Awards (FIIA) ceremony, which took place on the sidelines of the annual Asian Financial Services (AFS) Congress in Singapore. The “Innovation in Business Rules Management” recognizes TMB’s achievement in handling increasingly complex customers’ needs, changing regulatory requirements and technological advancement to serve the Bank’s business strategy and focus on transactional banking. The Bank has profoundly altered its business rules management system, pertaining to new product and service innovations, loan processing and regulatory changes through the effective deployment of a Business Rules Management System (BRMS) to manage the changes and business requirements that help to increase productivity, operational agility and reduce risk exposure. “TMB has been focusing our efforts on providing our customers with solid transactional banking services. This is the third FIIA that TMB has received from IDC Financial Insights. In 2009, TMB was presented the “Special Citation for Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)” award. It allows the bank to gain deeper insights about their customers while streamlining operations.
