Angelini at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok will hold a Rougiefoie gras promotion from 23 to 31 March 2012, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Chef Manager Marco Riva will create a Rougieset menu and ? la carte foie gras dishes for selection during the nine-day promotion.
Diners can enjoy a four-course Rougi?-inspired menu that Chef Marco has designed to complement specially selected wines from the finest vineyards from Italy and Argentina. The menu with wine pairing is priced at Bt3,200 per person and includes:
- Foie Gras Antipasto Trio (Pinot Grigio, Canlungo, IGT, Eugenio, Collavini Veneto, Italy 2010)
- Foie Gras Mezzelune Ravioli Parmigiano Cream Sauce with Hazelnut (Negroamaro, Feudi San Marzano, IGT Puglia, Italy 2009)
- Confit of Duck Leg with Roasted Truffle Potatoes (La Posta, Cocina, Malbec Mendoza, Argentina 2008)
- Lemon and Prosecco Sgroppino
The Rougie-inspired menu without wine pairing is available at Bt2,200 per person.
Angelini also present guests with a selection of ? la carte foie gras dishes, including Polenta and Spinach Soup with Pan-fried Foie Gras, Pigeon Terrine with Duck Foie Gras and Sour Cherries, Surf and Turf of Pan-fried Foie Gras Langoustine in Figs and Prune Sauce, Pear and Gorgonzola Risotto with Pan-fried Foie Gras, and Tenderloin Rossini with Pan-fried Foie Gras with Barolo Wine Sauce.
