Ltd. has announced the appointment of Glenn Rodil Ferrer as General Manager of Beyond Resort Krabi, a new property which connects discerning international guests with the enjoyment of nature.The 38-year-old Filipino native has enjoyed a total of 15 years of top level hospitality experience during his career, in addition to a decade of knowledge and skills development amassed whilst working in sales and marking within the service industry.Glenn began his career by exploring various roles in executive search, advertising, marketing and training, giving him a broad aptitude for communication and languages. He started his career in the hospitality industry with an Assistant Training Manager role at Phuket Arcadia Hotel & Resort, before joining Kata Group Resorts Co. Ltd. in 1999 as Assistant Director of Marketing. His most recent position was as Resident Manager at the popular Kata Beach Resort & Spa.Glenn earned a Diploma in Computer Information Science from Stamford College, Thailand, and is fluent in English, Thai and Filipino. His extensive travel, core focus on training and development and “hands-on” approach to hospitality management make him a key asset for the successful launch and development of Beyond Resort Krabi.Beyond Resort Krabi is currently under construction and is due to open mid-March, 2012.
