Marriott Thailand and Chiang Mai Rajabhat University (CRMU) has signed an MOU by Marriott’s Country HR Director, Mrs. Panjit Howe and VP of Academic Affairs CRMU, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pattanana Boonyaprapa for a bilateral program for college students in providing vocational experience and potential career development. This program aims to build upon university foundation knowledge through a real life training program making them capable and qualified representatives of the institute in the Tourism and Hospitality fields.
All Marriott hotels and resorts Thailand welcome CRMU’s third to fourth year students for on-the-job training, hotel inspection and visits of hotel’s business related functions and/or activities. Upon having met all the requirements set forth, a Certificate of Merit would be awarded. For excellent qualifications, proven track record and potential, one may be considered for employment with Marriott Thailand.
With growing talent all over the country, it is Marriott’s interest to embrace and foster Thai hospitality and in tapping into the Northern talent, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University has opened and provided their students with real life experience and international standards of the hospitality industry provided by a global chain that is one of the top employers in the world.
