DHL enters into a two-year contract with SCG in Thailand
Provides international express transport services of documents and parcels for SCG in Thailand
DHL Express, the world’s leading express service provider, entered into a multi-million baht, two-year master contract with SCG to provide international express transport services of documents and parcels for SCG in Thailand.
SCG is a leading company in Thailand and ASEAN with five core businesses focusing on chemicals, paper, cement, building materials and distribution, and comprises over 200 companies within these five focus areas. Under the agreement, DHL Express Thailand will be providing time-definite services for time-sensitive shipments which will not only simplify delivery but reduce unnecessary paperwork and optimize internal work processes.
The contract will start from March 2012 and will run through to 2014.
The strategic partnership will assist SCG in streamlining its B2B and consumer marketing activities by leveraging DHL’s global network connecting over 220 countries and territories.

DHL has put in place a dedicated customer service team to provide 24 hours of support to SCG. SCG will also be able to leverage on DHL’s online tracking system to gain full visibility on every step of the whole transport process, where all the relevant delivery data will be fed into the customer's track and trace system.
