"Cross Border Branding" refers to the imminent AEC integration. As welcome as the move towards a "united" ASEAN Economic Community is, it also poses real challenges to Companies and their Brands.
In general, Companies in ASEAN member Countries have only rudimentary marketing methods. Most Companies are manufacturing or agro based, largely dependant on B-B export. And when various trade protection barriers fall, Companies will have to compete for customers in a crowded marketing environment.
One of my personal interests is to increase awareness of the tremendous potential Branding has. And by popularize the application of high level Branding programs, individuals like you will be in a better position to effectively market products and services.
During this course I will dispel some misconceptions about Branding and set the record straight about returns on investment. The material that will be presented to you comes out of practical experiences in building Brands.
During the past thirty odd years I had the fortune to work on Branding programs for renowned brands managed by determined mavericks. Interestingly the continuous development of their Brands extended our personal relationship.
On day one of this course we will be discussing the basic principles of Branding.
The pre-condition to building a strong Brand. After each segment we will distribute pre-printed Q&A opinion sheets.The purpose of this is to have you form a point of view on the subject at hand.
On day 2 we will be practicing Branding by solving fictitious assignments.
