Buddy Group will launch new tour program in Thailand called “Chic Old Town” to expand new market including Scandinavian, European and tourists who favour a unique culture and beautiful nature in Thailand.
Sorathep Rotpojanaruch, Chief Operating Officer of Buddy Group Company Limited, said “After the re-opening of Buddy Oriental Riverside Pakkred since January 2012, we have created new tour program in Thailand called “Chic Old Town”. This program has been received positive feedback from Scandinavian and European market because it is a new routing which combines 12-14 nights to experience in Thailand. “Chic Old Town” represents the different places of cultural heritage and the preservation of traditional Thai life, art, wisdom, architecture, agriculture, gastronomy and wellness of Thailand.”
The program includes;
- Day 1-2
Guests stay overnight at Buddy Lodge or Hotel De’Moc, located in Khaosan area, Bangkok. On the 2nd day of the program, guests will have a walk to appreciate the beauty of the architectures and historical places around Bangkok Old City such as Grand Palace (Emerald Buddha), Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho and etc.
- Day 3
Guests depart from Buddy Lodge or Hotel De’Moc at noon and board Song Fang Klong cruise for lunch. The cruise will pass interesting sites along both sides of Chao Phraya River such as Rama 8 Bridge, Bank of Thailand, temples and local villages, and dock at Buddy Oriental Riverside Pakkred — a Thai Castle Riverside hotel located by Chao Phraya River in Nonthaburi Province. Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner with a fantastic view of the sun set by Chao Phraya River and spend 2 nights at Buddy Oriental Riverside Pakkred.
- Day 4
In the morning of the 4th day, guests take a boat to visit interesting attractions nearby Buddy Oriental Riverside Pakkred to see a community of local people such as Dessert Canal, Batik Village, Koh Kred Island. In the late afternoon, guests can go to Pakkred market for shopping fresh fruits.
- Day 5
Guests depart from Buddy Oriental Riverside Pakkred in the morning and go to Amphawa District in Samutsongkram Province to visit a floating market and local village by the river. Guests spend 1 night in Amphawa to see and feel a local lifestyle as it called “Slow Traveling”.
- Day 6-10
In the morning of the 6th day, guests leave Amphawa and go to Hua Hin District in Prachuab Khiri Khan Province, and then stop over 4 nights in Hua Hin for beach experience.
- Day 11-12
In the morning of the 11th day, guests visit the mangrove forest in Pranburi District and go to Kuiburi District to see wild elephants. Then guests are brought into Koh Talu, an island with a pure and beautiful nature of marine life, to spend 2 nights and join an Ecotourism activity. Inland, tropical evergreen rainforest covers the island that guests can join trekking. Moreover, they can join snorkeling to see coral reefs and sea turtles. Finally, the program ends at Koh Talu.
