Rojana Industrial Park announces an ambitious plan to invest as substantially as 3,000 Million Baht in expansion, unveiling the brand-new Rojana ‘Rayong 2’ Industrial Park, to accommodate increasing demands from automotive, electronics and other industrial sectors. The new industrial park will be located on a prime land plot of over 2,000 rai in Pluak Daeng district, Rayong. The construction of the new industrial estate is expected to be completed within six months from now. The company aims to generate 1,000 rai worth of industrial land sales within 2012, combining sales from all of its industrial parks in Ayutthaya and Rayong.
Mr. Jirapongs Vinichbutr, Managing Director of Rojana Industrial Park Public Co. Ltd., stated that, “The Rojana ‘Rayong 1’ Industrial Park in Ban Khai district was a huge success. It occupies a total of 2,300 rai of land, which was quickly sold out. This is a sound indication that there is still a strong demand for quality industrial parks in this area. Therefore, we are excited today to announce that we are creating a new industrial park in Rayong with over 3,000 Million Baht of investment. The new Rojana ‘Rayong 2’ Industrial Park will be located on a prime 2,000-rai land plot in Pluak Daeng district. The new development comes as a result of our recent takeover of the previous operation run by Pluak Daeng Industrial Park Co., Ltd. The project is now under construction and is expected to be complete and ready for customers to build their new plants within six months.”
“When we built our first industrial park in Rayong, we felt that there was a strong demand for quality industrial estates in the area. Even today, such demands continue to grow. The Rojana ‘Rayong 2’ Industrial Park has been specially designed to cater for the needs of various industrial sectors, particularly those in the automotive and electronics industries. Now, approximately 500-600 rai of available industrial spaces have already been reserved,” added Mr. Jirapongs.
Additionally, Mr. Jirapongs also revealed the progress of the advanced flood prevention efforts his company for their Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya, “We have constructed reinforced flood walls covering the entire area of the project to protect against future floods and to win back investors’ confidence. Such efforts were very successful because, since then, over 100 rai of additional industrial spaces in our Ayutthaya industrial park have been sold.”
Within 2012, the company expects to generate sales of up to 1,000 rai worth of industrial spaces. This total will be achieved combining sales from all of its industrial parks in Ayutthaya and Rayong.
