Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, under the supervision of The Crown Property Bureau, is a fount of novel form of education and knowledge, an interactive self learning center, as well as a venue where invaluable pieces of academic information on history, arts, and culture in regard to Siamese Rattanakosin era. Rattanakosin Exhibiton Hall will be held on “the Heritage of Songkarn and Thai Lifestyle” festival at temporary exhibition hall, Royal Pavillion Mahajetsadabodin and Wat Ratchanaddaram under the event name, “The Glorious Story of Nitasrattanakosin : the Heritage of Songkarn and Thai Lifestyle.” The concept of this event is “Do Good of Thai lifestyle” and the spectacular performances go to 360 panoramic multimedia view of Songkarn legend, interactive sand-made pagoda building, demonstrated Thai life play that you can be a part of it with direct experiences, 4 regions of thai traditional old market, relaxing with the elegant Khon performance by Sala Chalermkrung Royal theatre, praying 160 years of Phraphutthachai at Wat Rachanaddaram and 30
buddhas surrounding Loha Prasat
Mr. Somboon Chaidejsuriya, Assistant director - general, the president of opening ceremony of The Glorious Story of Nitasrattanakosin : the Heritage of Songkarn and Thai Lifestyle, 12 April - 13 May, 2012 ( except Monday ) said that The concept of this event is “Do Good of Thai lifestyle” and the exhibition presents the thai traditional Songkarn culture with new modern technology such as the legend of songkran ladies in the amazing 360 panoramic view also with semi-live play of thai lifestylesand make a merit and pray at 160 years of Phraphutthachai at Wat Rachanaddaram and 30 buddhas surrounding Loha Prasat
This event divided into 3 parts; first is at event hall, rattanakosin exhibition hall during 12 April -13 May 2012(except Monday). The exhibition shows light and sound 360 panoramic multimedia interactive presentation about songkran ladies also fun with sand building interactive game plus daily Thai traditional performance. Moreover step back to the Thai lifestyle in live play show that the attendants can be fun and join the performance such as Thai cooking, painting and handcrafting etc.
Second is at Royal Pavillion Mahajetsadabodin during 13-15 April, 2012, 17.00-22.00. The attendants enjoy shopping Thai 4 region traditional market, Thai lifestyle and culture such as music concert, the elegant khon performance etc.
Last but not least, is held at Wat Rachanaddaram during 12-15 April 2012. The attendants can make a merit 30 Buddha statues surrounding Loha Prasart and pray at 160 years Phraphuttachai also with Buddha relic.
