Sheraton Pattaya Resort associates participated in the Thai New Year 2555 — Songkran celebration; to pray and give foods to monks and gently pouring water mixed with a Thai fragrance, roses and jasmine flowers over Buddha images. The hotel associate also poured water on the hands of revered elders such as Khun Om Parkash Bajaj, the hotel’s owner (second row, first from the left), Mr. Michael Delargy, General Manager (front, center) and Khun Rojjana Franzke, Executive Assistant Manager (front, first from the left) and asked for their blessing. Thais believe that doing this will bring good luck and prosperity for their life. This activity mainly aims to help preserve the Thai cultural heritages for younger generations.
