Bangkok--6 Jul--Sahaviriya Steel Industries
The vessel “SHI DAI 20” with DeadWeight 114,900 tons capacity, had shipped 86,076 tonnes of steel slabs of Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. (SSI), valuing US$ 52.7 million, from SSI Teesside plant, the United Kingdom and arrived at Prachuap Port on 30 June 2012. This steel slab shipment will be used as raw material to produce hot-rolled coil at SSI Bangsaphan plant. Moreover, it is the second lot of SSI Teesside slab as well as the largest export shipment of England and a maximum inbound payload of Thailand.
