Dow Chemical donates mobile Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification units valued at over THB 6 million to the Thai Red Cross Society to prepare for potential drinking water shortages
On behalf of Dow Chemical Thailand, top executives led by Mr. Vorapong Vorasuntharosoth (far left), Government Affairs Leader for Southeast Asia/Australia/New Zealand Region, presented a donation of four mobile water purification units valued at over THB 6 million to the Thai Red Cross Society to help prepare for possible drinking water shortages in crisis scenarios, particularly in drought and flooding situations. The donation was recently made at the Terdprakiat Building of the Thai Red Cross Society in Bangkok.
Dow’s mobile water purification units are at present recognized as the world’s best mobile water treatment machines because of the latest water purification technologies that can purify water in three complete steps. These steps include Ultra Filtration (UF), Reverse Osmosis with Dow’s membrane technologies, and UV water purification. Simple to operate, each one of Dow’s mobile water purification units can create fresh, clean and safe drinking water at a rate of 800 liters per hour.
