Bangkok--11 Jul--KASIKORNBANK Emphasizing our leadership in international business, KBank has teamed with Bank Central Asia (BCA) — the top commercial bank of Indonesia — to offer financial services. This collaboration of our two countries will help widen regional business networks, allowing us to enhance customers’ potential as well as increasing international business volume prior to AEC implementation. Mr. Somkiat Sirichatchai, Senior Executive Vice President of KBank, said that the Bank has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bank Central Asia (BCA), the leading bank of Indonesia, with 900 branches across the country, in order to facilitate the use of financial services for KBank customers making international transactions related to trade and investment. KBank acknowledges Indonesia’s economic and investment strengths, as the IMF expects that the Indonesian economy (Real GDP) will grow by up to 6.1 percent YoY in 2013, for a rate of growth which is relatively higher than that of other ASEAN countries. Mr. Somkiat added that KBank is supporting customers investing in Indonesia, now with the cooperation of our allied banks. Our customers who would like to expand their production capacity in Indonesia and other countries should ask for suggestions and guarantee services from KBank. The MOU between Bank Central Asia and KASIKORNBANK is regarded as establishing financial service synergy between our two countries, which will help maximize benefits for our retail and corporate customers. In addition to financial services, we will work together to organize seminars, business matching and employee exchange programs.
