TEAM GROUP, a top Thai consultancy, is expanding to capture more of the ASEAN market through the TBS, its latest founded subsidiary providing business development consulting services in Myanmar.
Dr. Prasert Patramai, Chairman of the Board of TEAM GROUP, revealed the establishment of the Group’s 15th subsidiary, Total Business Solution Co., Ltd. or TBS., which is a joint venture between the Group and the first Thai-owned engineering consulting firm in Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Located in Yangon, TBS provides one stop services for business establishment and operation, assisting clients and investors with investment opportunity and studies, feasibility assessment, and implementation and operation. The company is currently entrusted by Burmese investors with their projects of port development, industrial estate development, and flood control and drainage system, of which the studies are scheduled to begin in August 2012.
On that day, TEAM GROUP and the Myanmar Engineering Society (MES) organized a special seminar on “Experience in Infrastructural Development Experience from Neighboring Country”, which was attended by a considerable number of interested Burmese investors. In this connection, TEAM GROUP was requested to implement a training course of project management in order to share its knowledge and experience with local engineers and investors. The course is expected to start by the end of this year
