SIAM KUBOTA has come up with the activity “Search for Toughest Kubota” and the idea has been met with unexpectedly great feedback from agriculturists. The 250 longest used engines entered the competition to win the 2.8 baht prices. The winner has been recently announced --- Somjit Tohchim, a farmer from Suphanburi province with her Kubota ET110 diesel engine which she has used for over 31 years on her rice field and sugar cane field, about 40 rai in total.
Somjit said that she took a good care of her Kubota to make sure it stays with her for a long time. She often changes the oil, filters and other parts according to each part’s expiration. Every day, she makes sure the engine is in a good condition, so she won’t have to encounter problems during use.
