Photo Release: Bangkok Bank and Awa Bank support Japanese entrepreneurs in Thailand

Bangkok--26 Jul--Bangkok Bank Bangkok Bank President Chartsiri Sophonpanich (2nd from right), Executive Vice President Hitoshi Ozawa (right), Awa Bank President Yoshifumi Okada (2nd from left) and General Manager Shinichi Kyono (left) signed a cooperative agreement to provide support to Japanese entrepreneurs in Thailand. Bangkok Bank will provide information on Thai politics, economy, and finance in addition to financial support by utilizing stand-by letter of credit from Awa Bank on collaboration basis. Both banks will mutually tighten their tie and endeavor to provide better quality service to customers. Awa Bank is Bangkok Bank’s first business tie-up bank in Shikoku region and has been doing business mainly in Tokushima prefecture. Awa Bank has put effort into smoothing financial aspect in positive manner based on the business policy of trustworthiness, dedication for local economy, and customer-first. Awa Bank has recently opened “International Business Promotion Office” in 2011 to provide supporting system for the customers’ international financial transactions and expansion of their business overseas. Awa Bank selected Bangkok Bank as its partner as Bangkok Bank has the largest overseas branch network among Thai banks, with26 locations in 13 key economies.
