Before the start of the 4th round of the Formula Renault Northern European Cup 2012, 17 year old Thai racing driver Sandy Nicholas Stuvik have been working with F1 sport coach Helmut Fink in Austria. The young Thai is pushing to improve his fitness, so to be even more competitive for the weekends coming race at the famous Assen TT Circuit in the Netherlands. An intensive program with running, cycling, mountain trekking, mountain climbing, yoga in high altitude, combined with concentration and reaction training has been the daily activity lately.
Sandy Nicholas Stuvik races for The Royal Automobile Association of Thailand and is sponsored by The Singha Corporation, The Pizza Company, Dacon Inspection Services, and SAT. He is coached by former F1 driver trainer Neel Jani and trained by Helmut Fink, and drives for the Austrian Interwetten Junior Racing Team. Sandy said “I am confident in my physical strength now and know this is essential to be able to challenge for podium in this very tough championship. Still, I can’t underestimate the next race at Assen circuit which is a new circuit for me. I will be pushing hard to improve on my 8th place in the championship.”
