Holiday Inn Bangkok's inviting family friendly venue Ginger, marks the annual festival of Loy Kratong with an enchanting Buffet Dinner on 5 November 2025. Loy Krathong takes place on the night of the full moon in November and is a time to venerate the Goddess of Water. In the evening, families and friends gather by rivers or lakes to float their krathongssmall rafts made from banana palm, adorned with flowers, candles, and incense. The act of gently launching a krathong and watching it float away into the night symbolises the need to let go of negativity and to look forward with renewed hope and energy.

To celebrate this popular traditional festival, Ginger is putting on a fabulous buffet dinner starring classics such as braised fish maw soup, red curry with roasted duck, and an array of fresh international and local salads. These can be enjoyed alongside offerings from the poolside BBQ and Carving Stations, turning out treats such as baked whole sea bass stuffed with aromatic Thai herbs; salmon with garlic and fresh herbs; juicy beef steaks and chicken satay; and marinated squid and plump tiger prawns for seafood lovers. It's a festive feast the whole family won't forget!
As an added touch, guests will be serenaded by the soothing sounds of a live solo guitar from 18.30 hours, and each table will receive a beautifully crafted, eco-friendly krathong to float away their troubles.
The Loy Kratong Dinner Buffet is available on 5 November 2025, 18.00 to 22.30 hours. Price is THB 799++ per person.
