Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Wallapa Klinpratoom (center), Asia Green Development Bank Deputy Managing Director U Than Ye (left), Ayeyarwady Bank Managing Director U Than Zaw (2nd from left), Kanbawza Bank Deputy Chairman U Than Lwin (2nd from right), and Co-Operative Bank Managing Director, U Pe Myint (right) have entered a business co-operation recently. The four leading Myanmar private banks will support Thai and international business customers of Bangkok Bank with more convenient cross-border transactions, as well as individual customers remitting funds to Myanmar. Bangkok Bank’s network of banking partners in Myanmar now comprises four private banks and two government banks, supported by the bank’s own representative office, which was established in Yangon in 1995. Bangkok Bank has an extensive international network spanning 26 locations in 13 key economies, including the representative office in Myanmar.
