Larry Carlton emerged himself as one of the best, most popular and most imitated guitarist in the world with a long credit studio work list. In the 70’ and early 80’, Larry was one of the busiest guitarists in Los Angeles with over 3,000 recording sessions on over 100 albums with artists like Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan, Herb Alpert, Michael Jackson and etc. In over 40 years, with 19 Grammy nominations as a solo artist, Carlton always creates fantastic works. With over 30 studio albums, live recording and countless studio sessions, these accomplishments made him to be one of the best jazz guitarists. Carlton released ‘Take Your Pick’ with Tak Matsumoto, a Japanese guitarist in 2010 and this album was awarded ‘2011 Grammy “Best Pop Instrumental Album”’. “Play The Sound of Philadelphia”, his latest album in 2011, still get great respond from his fans and that is a reason that why you should not miss this concert?
