Coca-Cola welcomes the Original FIFA World Cup(TM) Trophy to Thailand, inviting fans to see it up close on 24 January - for one day only

The Coca-Cola system in Thailand celebrated a historic milestone as the original FIFA World Cup Trophy arrived at Don Mueang International Airport, Thailand. The arrival marks a thrilling moment for Thai football fans, who will have the rare chance to see the original FIFA World Cup Trophy up close on 24 January as part of the 20th anniversary of the FIFA World Cup(TM) Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola.

The welcome ceremony was attended by Selman Careaga (4th from left), President of Coca-Cola ASEAN & South Pacific Operating Unit, and FIFA World Cup legend Gilberto Silva, a member of Brazil's iconic 2002 World Cup-winning team, who posed with the 18-carat solid gold trophy.

Also in attendance to witness this historic moment were senior leaders from the Coca-Cola system in Thailand Reetima Rakyan, Vice President and General Manager of Coca-Cola Thailand; Peeyush Sharma, President Designate, ThaiNamthip Corporation Public Company Limited; Maj. Gen. Patchara Rattakul, Chief Executive Officer, HaadThip Public Company Limited; and Jose Henrique Zeitune, Chief Operating Officer, HaadThip Public Company Limited, along with Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage.

The original FIFA World Cup Trophy will be showcased at River Park, ICONSIAM, on Saturday, 24 January 2026. This once-in-a-lifetime experience allows fans to get up close to one of the world's most coveted sporting symbol ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026(TM).
