This March, CHAR Restaurant invites guests to enjoy an elegant evening of gastronomy with an Exclusive Wine Pairing Dinner taking place on 27 March 2026. Designed for those who appreciate good food and thoughtful pairings, the experience features a curated 3-course menu accompanied by selected wines, priced at THB 2,900++ per person. The evening will be enhanced by live saxophone performances from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere above the city. With only 20 seats available, the event offers an intimate and memorable dining experience.
The dinner begins with Burratina Symphony, served with pesto emulsion, pistachio crust, and shallot dressing, paired with Ernest Rapeneau Brut Champagne from the Champagne region of France. The wine's fresh citrus notes complement the creamy burratina, while subtle fruit tones bring balance to the herbal pesto and nutty pistachio.
For the main course, guests may choose between two creations. From Head to Tail, Wild Tiger Prawn, featuring Lardo, black garlic sauce, mushroom and radish pickles, shrimp oil, and yuzu foam, is paired with 2023 Chateau Paradis Essenciel Rose from Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, whose delicate berry aromas and lively acidity balance the richness of the dish while highlighting the bright citrus notes of yuzu. Alternatively, diners may select Wagyu Rib Eye Grandeur, served with potato dauphinoise, local vegetables, beef jus, and bearnaise espuma, paired with 2021 Ogier Gentilhomme Cotes-du-Rhone, offering soft spice and dark fruit notes that complement the richness of Wagyu beef.
The evening concludes with Callebaut Chocolate, served with vanilla ice cream and salted caramel, paired with 2024 Domaine Laroche Mas la Chevaliere Chardonnay from Pays d'Oc, whose gentle notes of vanilla and tropical fruit complement the creamy dessert and bring the dining experience to a smooth finish.
