SEC Deputy Secretary-General Chalee Chantanayingyong stated on importance of the auditors’ role in supporting performance of audit committee of listed companies in order to assure audit quality thereby elevating corporate governance standard and enhancing investors’ confidence in capital market at “How could auditors help audit committees in performing their duties?” seminar co-hosted by SEC and Thai Listed Company Association on September 6 at Stock Exchange of Thailand.
