Mr. Akarin Prathuangsit (right), Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Prapon Chinudomsub (left), Chief Financial Officer of WHA Utilities and Power Public Company Limited (WHAUP), jointly presented the Company's operating results during its online Earnings Call (Opportunity Day), held at WHA Tower.
WHAUP reported strong performance for the second quarter of 2026, with revenue and normalized share of profit totaling THB 1.258 billion, an increase of 31% year-on-year, while net profit surged 276% year-on-year to THB 532 million. The solid results reflected growth across all water product segments, alongside an expanding customer base in emerging industries. The Company also recorded a significant increase in its share of profit from the power business, primarily driven by the strong performance of the Gheco-One power plant.
WHAUP continues to invest in and expand its water and clean energy services to support industrial growth and align with key government policies, particularly Thailand's Power Development Plan 2026 (PDP 2026) and the implementation of Direct Power Purchase Agreements (Direct PPAs).
