Sansiri support the famous Vegetarian Festival in Phuket, arrange 'J-Food Festival' on Sansiri Family’s event in Bangkok, and use Nok Air to fly traditional Phuket vegetarian food to Bangkok for guests at the Sansiri Lounge in Siam Paragon.
Mr. Apichart Chutrakul, CEO of Sansiri Public Company Limited revealed that the company are pleased to be involved with and support the Phuket Vegetarian Festival, which is over 150 years old and a central part of Phuket's rich culture and which has become an iconic event with tourists worldwide.
Announcing these activities in a press conference at Jui Tui Tao Bo Keng Shrine in Phuket Town, Mr. Apichart was joined by Mr. Jamroen Thipayapongtada, Vice Governor of Phuket Province, and Mr. Theerawut Sritularak, President of the Jui Tui Tao Bo Keng Shrine. Sansiri will support the Jui Tui Tao Bo Keng Shrine, Kathu Shrine and Bang Naew Shrine during the festival, from 15 — 23 October 2012.
“In addition to our support of the Festival, Sansiri have also arranged for a 'J-Food Festival' day in Bangkok for Sansiri Family, which will be held on 20th October 2012 at Sansiri Lounge on the 3rd floor of Siam Paragon department store. We have invited a special guest to attend: Khun Jittra Kornanthakiat, the writer and an expert on Chinese traditions and culture. Khun Jittra will share her experiences from attending the Phuket Vegetarian Festival and prepare the exorcise kit called ‘Tang Tue’, giving our guests the chance to change one's bad fortune through the ceremony. Sansiri have selected original Phuket vegetarian dishes which will be flown exclusively to Bangkok by Nok Air, for guests of our Sansiri Lounge in Siam Paragon. We will also serve these Phuket vegetarian dishes to our Sansiri Family at our housing and condominium projects in Phuket and Bangkok,” added Mr. Apichart Chutrakul.
