KASIKORNBANK, the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) and IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. have announced the K SME Care Biz Fair 2012, a major all-in-one event for SMEs in exploring business opportunities and meeting face-to-face with other business owners via the exhibition, to be held on November 1.
According to Mr. Patchara Samalapa, KASIKORNBANK Executive Vice President, KBank, TCEB and IMPACT Exhibition Management are supporting Thai SME operators for their future business potential by organizing the K SME Care Biz Fair 2012, a B2B SME exhibition fair. At the event, more than 150 SME operators from nine industries will display their goods and services, and conduct face-to-face negotiations with one another. At least 50 million Baht of trade value is expected at the event and for the entire year.
KBank will provide knowledge via training courses for SME operators along with marketing activities, and public relations of the exhibition fair with privileges from the Bank’s business partners. In the future, the Bank aims to expand business negotiation activities into other regions.
Mr. Jirut Itsarangkul Na Ayuthaya, Director of Domestic Support of the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), said, “TCEB is a state agency that encourages and develops meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) business internally and externally. Participating in the K SME Care Biz Fair 2012 is part of TCEB’s activities to support SMEs in marketing campaigns via the domestic MICE market, particularly business matching activities. The exhibition will focus on the B2B market. TCEB’s three domestic exhibition concepts include building new exhibitions, distributing interesting products to new markets and upgrading exhibitions to the B2B level, as well as offering interesting exhibition elements such as pre- or post-exhibition trips, or additional conferences along with exhibitions to boost knowledge and exchange technology know-how in such industries.
“The K SME Care Biz Fair is TCEB’s first activity under the cooperation for B2B business matching in a domestic exhibition of new products targeting SME business owners, whose operations are expected to help distribute income throughout the country, meeting TCEB’s objective for domestic exhibitions. Based on this cooperation, a real trade venue will be created for SME business opportunities towards their future expansion.”

The K SME Care Biz Fair 2012, to be held on November 1, 10 a.m. — 4 p.m., at Impact Forum, 2nd Floor, Sapphire 204-206 Room, will be a major venue for SME sales promotion, business expansion and opportunities. The event can serve as an efficient and worthwhile business negotiation medium where a number of targeted customer groups are all available at the same time. Participating in the event, SME operators will benefit from strengthening their networks ahead of the competition and business opportunities to be derived from the upcoming ASEAN Economic Community inception.
