City Automobiles, Land Rover’s authorised dealer in Thailand, has announced the appointment of Danai Chandrangam as General Manager. Danai has a proven history of delivering exceptional brand growth and product planning success following a six year tenure with BMW Thailand. He is known as a dedicated strategic planner who is able to generate and manage long term framework actions and product management processes. Immediately prior to joining Land Rover Thailand, he was the general manager of Empire Motor Sport Co. Ltd., an authorised dealer of Maserati in Thailand.
Danai’s vision and talent for establishing and achieving long-term objectives ensures he can empower his team and drive them towards strong sales and 100% customer satisfaction. He will take overall responsibility for every aspect of City Automobiles’ recently refurbished Land Rover showroom and cutting edge service centre on Wireless Road, Lumphini. His considerable experience in the automotive sector coupled with his attention to detail and leadership qualities make him an inspired addition to the City Automobiles management team.
Holding both Thai and Dutch citizenship, Danai is a Bachelor of Economics from the Vrije University in Amsterdam. He is also the founding owner of a medical assistance company specialising in repatriation and case management, and was a keynote speaker on global health care at both the Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA) national and international conferences in 2008 and 2009. Fluent in Dutch, English, German and Thai, Danai will lead the staff at City Automobiles, drive sales performance and oversee the delivery of an exceptional brand experience for new and existing Land Rover customers.
