CS LoxInfo (CSL) reported a consolidated profit from the operation for 3Q2012 of Baht 106 million which led CSL to have a total performance for the nine-month period of Baht 312 million, increased by 8% over the same period of last year. However, CSL had recognized loss from impairment of investment and net asset in WATTA Classifieds Company Limited which led CSL to have a consolidated net profit of Baht 298 million. The growth of its performance was resulted from the continuous growth of ICT Business and Voice & Mobile Content Business.
For a separate financial statement, CSL reported a net profit for 3Q2012 of Baht 120 million or Baht 0.20 per share, comprised of net profit from its operation of Baht 55 million and dividend received from a subsidiary of Baht 65 million. This led CSL to have a total stand-alone net profit for the nine-month period of Baht 336 million or Baht 0.56 per share, increased by 15% over the same period of last year. This was resulted from a continuous growth of ICT Business in the core products & services such as ICT services, Internet Data Center services (IDC), and Leased line services which was served from corporate customers, especially in revenue from ICT services which had a strong growth due to CSL had an attempt to offer the ICT integrated services and ICT solution services to meet the needs of our current corporate customers.
For Voice Services & Mobile Content Services Business, total revenue increased by 5% over 2Q2012. This was resulted from growth of its customer’s base and various product offerings such as SMS services for entertainment news or sport news etc., in parallel with, growth of the revenue from Call Center Services due to the Company had expanded and developed more additional services such as a outsource call center for corporate, call center enquiry services for traveling or eating etc.
For YellowPages Business, CSL had net loss of Baht 28 million in 3Q2012. This was due to the Company has postponed to deliver and recognize of 2012 YellowPages Book due to the impact of flood crisis in the end of year 2011. CSL will recognize the revenue from YellowPages Book as usual in 4Q2012 onwards, which is expected to reduce a loss from its operation.
