Brio Amaze to make its debut on 23 November 2012
Honda today unveiled the name of its all-new 1.2 liter sedan model is the “Brio Amaze” and announces Thailand is the first country to launch this model. Honda has chosen Thai superstar Bie Sukrit as the new Brio Amaze presenter. The official launch of the Brio Amaze together with an amazing "Equation of Happiness" mini-concert will be on November 23, at the Plenary Hall, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
According to Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn, Executive Vice President, Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., “Honda has already successfully launched nine models this year to meet diverse customer demands and lifestyles. The all-new Brio Amaze, the tenth new model in our 2012 lineup, will satisfy the needs of customers in the entry-car market. The Brio Amaze is a 1.2 liter sedan designed exclusively for Asia and its first market debut will be in Thailand.”
The design concept of the new Brio Amaze is based on the Smart Micro Limousine that embraces a stylish and sleek exterior design and is highly maneuverable, yet provides a spacious, and comfortable interior influenced by Honda’s ‘Man Maximum, Machine Minimum’ concept that delivers the highest level of attention to the driver and passengers. The Brio Amaze offers fun driving in all conditions. It is powered by a 1.2 liter, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 90-horsepower engine with efficient fuel economy. It perfectly meets the diverse demands of customers, which is the rationale for naming the new car the Brio Amaze.
“To reinforce the unique product image of the new Brio Amaze, we have selected Bie Sukrit Wisetkaew, a popular star among Thai audiences, as the new presenter for the Brio Amaze. Bie Sukrit is a highly-acclaimed vocalist and actor. Agile and modern, he is very popular with Thai people of every age and gender, and has unique qualities that reflect the personality of the Brio Amaze,” said Mr. Pitak.
Honda will officially launch the Brio Amaze on Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, with a media launch event from 13:00 to 15:00 hours. After that, Honda will hold a mini-motor show for customers to experience the new Brio Amaze for the first time at a launch event that runs from 15:00 to 20:00 hours. Customers who place an order a new Brio Amaze at the event are eligible to enjoy the exclusive mini-concert performed by Bie Sukrit on the same day from 19:00 to 21:00 hours. The Brio Amaze joins the lineup of six Honda automobile models that qualify for the government’s first-car tax rebate program, which are the Brio, Jazz, Jazz Hybrid, City, City CNG and now the Brio Amaze.
