TG Fone Cellular World Co Ltd, the distributor of leading mobile phone brands hi-lights its success as a modern retail store with branches nationwide, with the celebration of its 20th anniversary, launching a “TG Fone Triple Lucky Draw Triple Fun” campaign which includes a Honda Jazz Hybrid as a grand prize and other prizes worth over 3 million baht. With its integrated service and over 130 branches nationwide, the company is confident it could significantly drive the sales in 2013. Mr.Pairoj Thavornsapanant, managing director of TG Fone Cellular World Co Ltd revealed that the overall cellular phone market this year is projected to grow at least 10-15% despite the sales drop in the beginning of the year, compared to the same period in 2011. The reasons of the decline are due to the delays in the product launch and the impact of the flood in late 2011. However, the purchasing power is expected to resume, particularly during the fourth quarter this year when the competition is intensifying, especially in the “iOS” and “Android” segments such as iPhone 5, iPad mini, Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 10.1 and Sony Xperia ion. Because major manufacturers have continued to launch new models which would drive the sales growth from last year. The company has targeted a 15% market shares and once the 3G bidding process is finalized and the operators could provide extensive covering network by the first half of 2013, the mobile phone market could increase by 30%.
Recently, the company has marked its 20th anniversary with the launch of “TG Fone Triple Lucky Draw Triple Fun” campaign to thank customers with over 30 million bath budget. The campaign which includes marketing activities and promotional media will be held during November 14th, 2012-February 10th, 2013. The campaign is divided to three phases; the first is the kick-off phase or the launch of the campaign through press conference; the second phase is a roadshow in 19 TG Fone branches nationwide which will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as an on-line game TG Fone Facebook Fan Page to wine a 20% discount for iPod Touch 4G, Samsung LED TV, Samsung refrigerator and Harman Kardon sound system; the third phase or the final event is the lucky draw for customers who purchase TG Fone products to win Honda Jazz Hybrid Fino Mio motorcycle , gold necklace and various mobile phone brands worth over 3 million baht at TG Fone shops nationwide . It has developed human resources who are skillful and has expertise in cellular phone application and tariff package to serve customers’ demand as well as applying the Augmented Reality technology to conduct product demonstration and develop CRM system to collect customers’ data and constantly communicate with customers.
