Deployment of Solution Sets New Bar for the Real Estate Sector in Improving Marketing Process
IBM today announced that Asian Property Development Public Company Limited (AP) has adopted IBM Business Analytics Software to better align with their business enhancement strategy and improve its marketing process.
The real-estate-development company is now working with IBM and its local technology partner Business Application Co., Ltd. (BAC) to deploy IBM Business Analytics solution. By drawing on the insights gained from analytics, key decision makers can improve their decision making with positive business outcomes.
IBM Business Analytics delivers actionable insights that decision-makers need to achieve better business performance. It performs as a centre for data consolidation from relevant sources, with advanced features and increased scalability that allow for more customer satisfaction.
“As one of Thailand’s leading property developers our mission is to be the most responsive creator for our customers. To meet our objectives we needed to adapt work processes throughout the business, including our IT department, to support the company’s business expansion plans and meet the needs of the new generation of customers who are now given a variety of choices by multiple players that offer a range of products with different prices and styles.” said
Somchai Wattanasaowapak, Chief Technology Officer, Asian Property Development Public Company Limited.
“This year AP has altogether 40 operating projects and a line up of future ones to cater to demands for personal housing and investments. With the continuously growing number of projects, we have seen alongside an expanding customer base. For this reason, AP looked for an analytics software that will assist in evaluating customers’ behaviours and in turn enabling us to meet their expectations more effectively. We have decided to leverage on IBM’s solutions over other alternatives as we trust in the company’s expertise in the field coupled with solutions that are most in line with our needs.”
To achieve the goal, AP has commissioned IBM and its partner BAC to implement a suite of IBM Business Analytics software to improve its marketing process.
Jadesada Kraisingkorn, Country Manager, Software Group, IBM Thailand Co., Ltd., said “Upon successful completion of the implementation, AP would have enhanced capabilities in customer segmentation with the ability to plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns. The shortened duration from date collection, reporting and campaign execution. This would result in significant improvements in sales, improving customer satisfaction and accelerating business decision making.”
Apart from its scalability and data consolidation capabilities from relevant sources, the solution also enables AP to automate its strategy-management process by allowing it to monitor, measure and manage its business metrics and compare them with its strategic and operating objectives. With a deeper understanding of customer segmentation, AP can now concentrate on marketing efforts in its key segments, leading to increased revenue.
“IBM’s business-analytics roadmap, expertise, and proven track record of successful client implementations fit AP’s needs. We believe that our business analytics software would equip AP with the power to interpret, transform and derive successful marketing campaigns from the information,” said Jadesada.
The implementation of business analytics solution includes IBM SPSS Modeler, which provides predictive analytics and facilitates customer segmentation to allow for developing more effective campaigns truly responsive to purchasing power, functional design and space utilisation that provide customers with values and is harmoniously blended with their lifestyles.
IBM Cognos 10 Business Intelligence software would provide AP dashboards to monitor sales performance, changes from selling to closing processes, construction progress, inventory such as stock backlog and key performance indicators (KPIs). Finally, with IBM Cognos 10 Business Intelligence Data Manager software, AP would be able to build data marts by aggregating information in each data source to enable easier and faster data analysis.
