Bangkok--11 Jan--Mitsubishi Motors Thailand - To announce the company philosophy which is “Making people relating to Mitsubishi products and businesses Happy” Mitsubishi Motors Thailand reports total sales volume in 2012 exceeded the company target with more than 129,000 units and also hit the new sales record at 14,836 units in December. Mr. Nobuyuki Murahashi, President of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Company Limited reveals that “Last year is the golden year of Thai automotive industry, however we cannot see the real total demand of the market as number of the booking were boosting by the government 1st car buyer policy especially for B segment which the customers can get the maximum tax rebate as well as double cab- pickup truck that more popular among the customers.” “For Mitsubishi, we got the new highest record sales in December with 14,836 units, an increase of 175.05% compared to 2011. Mitsubishi total sales volume of 2012 was at 129,460 units, an increase of 98.07%. Triton reached 61,012 units, an increase of 50.23% and Pajero Sport got 26,021 units, an increase of 48.29 % while passenger car (Lancer 1.6, Lancer EX and Mirage) soar 561.83% with 42,417 units dominated by 38,762 units of Mirage” “For this year, I think we can see the real demand of market. For MMTh we eye to achieve the same figure of last year at around 120,000 units, however it will be adjusted depend on market situation. Our philosophy in doing business is making people relating to our products and businesses “Happy”.
