IKEA Bangnahold the activities for children 4-10 years old onChildren’s Day weekend, 12-13 January 2013.
Children aged between 4-10 have the opportunity to become citizens of their own nation — Quingdom of Sm?land. With their new Sm?lish passport, they could enjoy a fun filled adventure in a magical forest created in the mall area close to IKEA’s store entrance especially for Children’s Day.
Their first challenge wasthe adventure before they got into the forest. They had to find the way out from the magical maze and Angna’s castle.Then they moved onto a slide which took them into the magic forest where Angna, giant heart-shaped furry creature,who is the Quing(genderless) of Sm?land, need their help to hide from the dragon in the forest.
But then, the fun really began as children and Angna could battle the dragon by throwing soft balls into its large fiery mouth.
With all those adventure over, the children had a chance to win the lucky draw prize. Besides, they couldrelax with special eco-arts and crafted activities such as hand-puppet ladybug or paper hat.
“This is the biggest Children’s Day activity we have held at IKEA Bangna and we are expecting a great response from families,” said IKEA Service Manager, PanawanJiampuk.
“It was a fabulous fun-filled day for every child who wanted to become a Sm?le and savedAngna from the dragon in the magical forest. It is all just part of the way IKEA places the family at the centre of all activities.”
Additional benefits for children becoming citizens of Sm?land will be personalized passports, earn credits in their own currency called “Sm?lishd?llars” for every subsequent visit to IKEA, free drink and discounted kid’s meal every visit, a special “Bug News” delivered to their home three times a year, and their own website www.IKEA.co.th/smales.
Special for temporary members who had not come to issue the passport got free soft toy when head to the Bug House and had a photo taken on 12-13 January 2013.
