Gayoon and Jiyoon of 4MINUTE will begin their promotion as 2YOON with the lead single, "24/7", on the 17th.
The lead single will be released at 12PM today and the "Country Healing Village" themed music video will mark the start of 2YOON's official promotion.
As K-POP's first brave attempt to incorporate Country-inspired dance pop to its existing genre, "24/7" offers stress-free, optimistic healing throughout the week, "24 hours a day, 7 days a week." The upbeat banjo riff in the intro followed by a fresh dance-compelling melody makes the shoulders move effortlessly.
Another treat is in store for the audience during "MCountdown" as 2YOON hopes to place an emphasis on the "healing" process of "24/7". Soo Jung Kim, Korea's beloved child actress, is to make a surprise cameo during the performance to spice up the stage.
"24/7" consists of "3 healing points": 1. Country-pop that introduces a new sound to K-POP 2. Lyrics that everyone, regardless of age and gender, can relate to 3. Beat-Lyric syncopated easy-to-follow dance choreography.
Attention is being focused on 2YOON's 1st EP, "Harvest Moon", and their concurrent promotion activities. On top of the unveiling of the music video and the release of the single on various sites, 2YOON have stated that they will begin a 1-on-1 fan event.
