This year, Pure Pleasure Entertainment will be exploding onto the Asian scene with the debut of King of Clubs in Thailand, with an exclusive performance from one of the world’s best duo trance artists, Aly & Fila (www.alyandfila.com).
King of Clubs has become a household name in the Melbourne dance scene, branding it one of Melbourne’s finest trance events. Some of the World’s best Trance Producers and Artists, from the likes of MarLo (Holland), SHOCK:FORCE (UK), Slideout (Germany), Tommy Pulse (Holland), Dave Joy (Switzerland), and Steve Hill (Australia) have graced the stage at King of Clubs in Australia. In 2013, King of Clubs is expanding to Bangkok, Thailand, to give partygoers the true taste of trance and an ultimate clubbing experience (www.purepleasureent.net).
Ranking in at #19 on the DJ Mag Top 100 in 2012, and grouped alongside other A-listers such as, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyke, Ferry Corsten and many more, Aly & Fila is ready to take Bangkok by storm with their energetic and uplifting live performance. The Egyptian pair has become the forefront of the next generation of dance music superstars, sweeping nominations after nominations on the biggest dance polls worldwide. In 2009, Aly & Fila launched their own label “The Future Sounds of Egypt”, releasing originals and remixes that have caught the attention of fellow artist Armin Van Buuren. Featured performances on the night also include LonSkii from Melbourne, Australia. After exploding onto the dance scene in 2007, he was a resident DJ at 5 of Melbourne’s finest Nightclubs, such as Bubble, Hard Kandy, PHD, Pharmacy, and 3D. Following his time touring and performing in Australia and Thailand, LonSkii later established King of Clubs in 2010 and Ace of Spades in 2011. Both have become well-known dance events in Melbourne.
Adding to the line-up of superstars, Thailand’s Hype Viper will captivate you through his devotion and love for pure trance. His music is an inspiration from pioneering icons in the Electronic Music scene such as Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, and ATB. Hype Viper’s active involvement in the music scene has spread to countless live acts and collaborations with local artists both in the United States and Thailand. He also plays an important part in “Trance Music Lovers Thailand”, a community that hopes to spread the love of Trance music in the Thai party scene.
The High Energy Crew, a group of DJs with a common love for party-rocking, hard-thumping tunes, will also perform at the event.
To witness what Thailand’s dance scene has been missing, simply head down to Sonic Ekkamai (90 Sukhumvit 63, Ekkamai, Wattana, Bangkok) on Friday 15th February 2013. The event will run from 9pm-2am, with tickets available for sale upon entry. Entry fee is 1,000 Baht, and includes a complimentary drink.
