Aiming to expand its securities trading internationally, SCB Securities Co., Ltd. has revitalized its management team by naming Mr. Viravate Vongkitbuncha as Senior Vice President The International Securities Department is a new unit set up to create strategies and policies catering to both individual and institutional Thai investors seeking equity and derivative investments abroad. It will also be in charge of securities trading under ASEAN Linkage.
Khun Viravate is keen on securities trading, particularly in derivatives markets. He has accumulated more than 10 years experience in managing financial and securities businesses and has expertise in securities investment in global markets. He also initiated and developed a securities trading system that will greatly benefit the company's strategic and policy planning to drive business growth.
Before joining SCBS, Viravate served as Head of Equity Derivatives and Global Investment at Asia Plus Securities PCL, where he was responsible for managing and developing derivative products and overseeing the firm's global derivative trading desks. In addition, he also possesses a strong financial and investment background gained at leading financial institutions, such as Barclays Capital Hong Kong.
Viravate graduated with an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York, USA and a BS in System Engineering from the University of Virginia, USA.
