The Money & Banking Magazine held The 3rd Money Expo Pattaya 2013 themed “Unlimited Future” at Pattaya’s largest and best convention venue, Pattaya Exhibition And Convention Hall (PEACH) from 15th — 17th February 2013.
The 3rd Money Expo Pattaya utilized 5,800 sq.m. of PEACH’s floor space as its marketing channel. The three-day event attracted over 30,000 visitors and saw 12,813 transactions, worth more than 9.5 billion baht, for services with 40 participating financial institutions such as well-known commercial banks, security firms, gold companies and gold futures traders.
H.E. Kittirat Na Ranong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, presided over the opening ceremony. Also in attendance were Mr. Areepong Bhoocha-oom, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance, Mr. Komsan Ekkachai, Governor of Chonburi Province, Mr. Itthiphol Kunplome, Mayor of Pattaya, Mrs. Kesara Manchusree, Executive Vice President — Head of Markets Division, Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, Managing Director of Royal Cliff Hotels Group, Mr. Santi Viriyarungsarit, Chairman of Money Expo 2013 and Mr. Tanit Viriyarungsarit, Vice Chairman of Money Expo 2013.
Mr. Santi Viriyarungsarit said, “This year's campaigns were very interesting, especially housing loans which offered up to 10 months at 0% interest with free appraisals, mortgage fees and insurance. The most popular financial services for this year were housing loans or mortgage transactions worth 9,574.89 million, the SME loans worth 1,760.35 million and personal loans to the credit of 181.38 million baht.”
