Bangkok Bank Senior Executive Vice President Virasak Sutanthavibul (2nd from right) received a plaque from the Deputy Minister for Finance and Master of Ceremonies, Thanusak Lek-uthai (2nd from left); Thai Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG) Chairman Surachai Danaitangtrakul (left); and Acting President Vallobh Tejapaibul (right) for supporting the fifth phase of the Portfolio Guarantee Scheme (PGS), valued at Baht 240 billion over its three-year term. The loan-guarantee scheme aims to support small and medium-sized entrepreneurs by providing them with the financial liquidity they need to succeed. The TCG is also making the PGS available for three years to start-up businesses, providing total credit of Baht 10 billion. Particular targets are university students participating in the government’s start-up fund project and newly set-up businesses.
