Honda Enjoys Continuously Strong Growth Since 2012
Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has achieved another level of success, setting the highest-ever monthly sales record in the company’s history during February 2013 and enjoying the highest sales in the Thai passenger car market. A total of 25,105 Honda cars were sold during the month, representing 37.6% of the entire Thai passenger car market.
For January and February 2013, Honda also took the lead with the highest sales in Thailand’s passenger car market with accumulated sales of 43,494 units. This accounted for 33.6% of the 129,314 units of vehicles sold in Thailand during the first two months of this year. This accomplishment builds on the continuously strong growth that made Honda number one in passenger car sales for the last quarter of 2012.
In 2012, Honda achieved the highest annual sales in the company’s history with accumulated sales of 171,208 units in just nine months after its return to full production. Honda achieved this accomplishment thanks to a full range of models offered by the company to match the varied needs of today’s consumer lifestyles.
