SSI achieved HRC production record at 770,408 tons and a shipment record at 770,408 tons in Q1/2013, the highest among steel companies in Thailand. Key success factors are the growth of downstream industries, customer confidence, raw material stability, effectiveness of distribution process and its staffs’ aim for excellence.
Sahaviriya Steel Industries Plc. or “SSI” reported the quarterly production 1/2013 that SSI Bangsaphan plant hit a new record of quarterly Hot Rolled Coil (HRC) production at 770,408 tons in Q1/2013, beating its previous record of 689,830 tons in Q1/2010— a top production record among Thai steel companies.
The company also attained a new record of quarterly shipment at 706,833 tons, again a top shipment record among Thai steel companies, beating its previous record of 679,080 tons in Q1/2010, and is currently on track to meet its annual production and sales target of 2.7 million tons this year.
