SCB Securities (SCBS) has inaugurated a “Private Portfolio” service as part of its effort to fully expand the private fund business. To tap potential private fund clients, the company is focusing on a strategy of investment in small and middle cap growth and value investing stocks.
SCBS Chief Executive Officer M.L. Thongmakut Thongyai said the private fund industry had expanded uninterruptedly over the past 4-5 years, and still has much room for business opportunities.
At present, most investors are looking for investment products offering high returns along with veteran experts to help manage their assets and investment portfolios. They want the experts to help with investment strategies to ensure expected returns are achieved with acceptable risk, and that their portfolios enjoy long-term growth.
To meet this demand, Mr. Thongyai announced that SCBS is offering a “Private Portfolio” service designed for the management of private fund investment. It will help small investors, who are paying greater attention to private funds, with total solutions for their investment needs.
The “Private Portfolio” service is a new alternative investment channel featuring a growth and value stock investment strategy focusing on small and middle cap stocks with strong fundamentals and long-term growth rates. Portfolios will be managed by a team of experts in asset management offering in-depth stock analysis, to help small and institutional investors seeking to invest in stocks that can generate handsome profits and sound returns.
