Siam Commercial Bank holds shareholder meeting, announces dividend payment of 4.50 baht per share, and appoints new board members
Siam Commercial Bank recently held its 190th shareholder meeting. The meeting resolved to pay a dividend to shareholders at the rate of 4.50 baht per share, an increase of 1 baht from that paid in 2011. The dividend total amounts to 15.3 billion baht, equivalent to 38% of the Bank's net profit for 2012. Joining the meeting were Mr. Anand Panyarachun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Vichit Suraphongchai, Chairman of the Executive Committee, Mrs. Kannikar Chalitaporn, President, and other board members. The meeting also sought approval for the appointment of two new board members, namely Mr. Prasan Chuaphanich and Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, to replace those whose terms were expired. Held at the bank's Mahison Auditorium.
