Mr. Kanit Sukonthaman (right), President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), and Mr. Subhak Siwaraksa (left), President and Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Thai Public Company Limited (CIMB Thai), co-signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the joint export credit insurance facility at Head Office, CIMB Thai on April 2, 2013. Under this alliance, EXIM Thailand will protect CIMB Thai export-customers against non-payment risks incurred by foreign buyers and boost Thai exporters’ market penetration and expansion in new markets worldwide. Besides, the insurance can be used as collateral for CIMB Thai’s loan.
