Toyota reveals recall on Camry and Altis

Bangkok--12 Apr--Toyota Motor Thailand Toyota Motor Thailand reveals that Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) Japan announced on recall of Toyota cars to be inspected the front passenger airbag on April 11, 2013. The action is to demonstrate the philosophy of customer-oriented with care and adopt the responsible operation to ensure its highest quality. Mr.Wichien Emprasertsuk, Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Thailand Co.,Ltd. revealed “According to the recall, it is involved with 2 series of vehicle which are assembled and sold in Thailand. Those are :- (1.) Camry : produced between Oct. 2001 - Jul.2003 (2.) Corolla Altis : produced between Mar.2001 - Nov.2002 Though the company will send official letter to inform customers to bring their cars for examining and correcting at nationwide Toyota dealers’ services center” “Towards a better understanding, the term “recall” means a voluntary service campaign for our customers to bring your vehicle to a Toyota service centre for an inspection which may include repair services or part replacements (depending upon certain circumstances) without any charges. This action is to demonstrate that Toyota places the highest priority on customer safety and quality of our vehicles. This does not mean to replace a car” Mr. Wichien concluded.
